Niseko
Niseko is a famous ski resort in Japan, located on the island of Hokkaido. Cold winters and an abundance of snow attract skiers and snowboarders from all over the world. Nagano

- individuals can simultaneously export cash foreign currency from the Russian Federation in an amount not exceeding the equivalent of $ 10,000 without providing permits;
- the amount not exceeding the equivalent of $ 3,000 – is exported without a written declaration to the customs authority;
- the amount equivalent to $ 3,000 to $ 10,000 is subject to mandatory written declaration to the customs authority
- it is forbidden to export the amount exceeding the equivalent of $ 10,000 from the Russian Federation, except for cases of export of foreign currency previously imported into the Russian Federation within the amount specified in the customs declaration confirming its import into the Russian Federation Russian rubles, securities, precious stones and metals are subject to mandatory written declaration in any form and condition. It is necessary to include in the written declaration items whose turnover is restricted by law (weapons, drugs, cultural values, etc.). CUSTOMS AND DUTTY FREE REGULATIONS
Accompanied and unaccompanied baggage for personal use is not subject to duty and / or tax within the limits of the permitted list below. (For rice, the limit is 100kg per year) If, in addition to accompanied baggage, there is unaccompanied baggage, then it must also be presented to Customs, subject to the list of permits below.

In addition, a permissive list has been established for some other items within the limits indicated below.
The total market value of all items other than those listed above must not exceed the equivalent of 200,000 yen. Any item whose market value does not exceed 10,000 yen is not subject to duty and/or tax and is not included in the calculation of the total market value of all items. If the market value of one item or one set exceeds 200,000 yen, they are not exempt from duty.
Quarantine Immunization is not required when entering Japan from any country.
There are some restrictions on the import and export of animals and plants, which must be clarified on the relevant websites organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan ( www.maff.go.jp ).
Japan entry procedure
- On an airplane or on board a passenger ship, fill out the documents required to enter the country.
- When arriving at a Japanese airport, first of all, go to the window for foreigners at the immigration counter (immigration office), present your passport and a completed entry / exit card.
- After the immigration officer explains the next steps, place the index fingers of both hands on the digital fingerprint reader. Fingerprint information will be read electromagnetically.
- A photograph of the face will be taken using the camera located on top of the fingerprint reader.
- The immigration officer will then conduct a brief interview.
- Upon completion of all the above procedures, obtain a passport from the immigration officer.
After receiving your baggage on the conveyor, go to the customs control desk. If you have items that are subject to declaration, go to the red corridor, if not – to the green one.
